We are looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant. This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Assisted Living Community. This food services position includes;
- 26 hours every two weeks
- Part time (3-4 hour evening shifts); 4PM-7PM
- Every other weekend & holiday rotation

Responsibilities/Job Description
- Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting
- Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and happiness with their meal service
- Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies
- Assists with meal prep and special events
- Provides kitchen support when needed with dish washing and cleaning of floors
- Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor required
- Desire to work with seniors
- Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff
- Prefer some work experience in a customer service setting, but not required
