Riley Crossing Independent Senior Living provides residents with the opportunity to continue to maintain their independence while having access to assistance when needed. Here’s how you can stay independent at a senior living community.
Set Your Own Schedule
Maintain your independence and enjoy time socializing with new friends by staying involved with fun events and activities, at your convenience. Riley Crossing offers many engaging activities like live music by MacPhail in our purple rain music lounge, trivia Tuesdays, painting, pickleball at the recreation center, movies and popcorn in our theater, and more. Our diverse range of events and activities provides our residents with the opportunity to continue their hobbies and learn new things. Our independent living residents have complete control of their day and can schedule activities as they see fit.
Take Control of Your Meals
When you move to a Senior Living Community, it doesn’t mean that you will only have one meal option to eat every night. For example, our Riley Crossing dining program provides our residents with a selection of meals from our menus. We offer a variety of options for each meal so that you can choose meals that are best for your dietary needs and maintain the independence for making meal choices. (Added bonus: our Culinary team is amazing!)
Studies have shown that exercise helps seniors stay independent and mobile and at Riley Crossing, we encourage our residents to take part in our wellness program. You decide what level of physical activity you want. This can also be a great way to socialize and meet other independent seniors in the community through a group class or our daily exercise program.
At Riley Crossing, we empower our residents to stay independent as long as possible. The independent-living lifestyle at our campus offers a safe living environment, but with minimal assistance. If you want to learn more about our independent living program, call us at or email us at [email protected].
