Our residents enjoyed an afternoon full of music, laughter, and (of course!) popcorn while enjoying The Chamber Orchestra “Race for the Reef” virtual concert. The residents were able to watch the virtual concert with the kids, who adored the event!
“Race for the Reef” is an online concert for young viewers where they can watch as Leopold the Leopard and his friend Tree join The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra for a musical adventure. Created by Los Angeles-based master puppeteer Victor Yerrid, this 40-minute underwater journey introduces the instruments of the orchestra, then races and weaves through Schubert’s Third Symphony. It’s created for ages 6–12, but can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
The Riley Crossing team provided a gathering room for guests to come together and treated everyone to popcorn for the concert (it was certainly delicious!)
Guests and the kids could be found laughing throughout the entire concert and enjoying the wonderful performance.
