Howdy, ya’ll! Our team at Riley Crossing hosted a fun-filled Wild West-themed afternoon lunch for residents and it was a great time!
The residents grabbed their cowboy boots and hats and joined us for a Western-themed lunch, with plenty of southern food to fill their bellies. Residents were able to enjoy foods, such as BBQ brisket, corn on the cob, coleslaw, cowboy cocktails, and more!
There was live music playing, hosted by Tom Hipps which put everyone in the spirit. Tom writes, records and performs melodic, message-infused pop and folk music. Listen to his tunes here.
What made the event so much fun was having our residence and the Riley Crossing team members dress up for the occasion. Many of our residents wore cowboy hats and boots, the team members decorated the tables with Western-themed props and picnic tablecloths–there was even a giveaway winner!
The Riley Crossing team was thrilled to be able to host such a fun and entertaining event. We look forward to hosting more themed events for our residents in the future.
