Our Activity Director, Stacy Shamblott is in charge of planning all of the activities and exercises below. She graduated from the University of Iowa with BS in Leisure Studies with emphasis on Therapeutic Recreation. She has been a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist for over 25 years.
“Fitness with Lynn” on Mondays, Thursday and Saturday at 10:30. You will be doing resistance training using light hand weights. All exercises can be done sitting down or without the weights.
“Walk Away The Pounds” with Leslie Sansone on Tuesday and Thursday at 1:00. Using 4 basic steps, this fitness program will show you all of the basics for a brisk, upbeat walk; from perfect posture to using weights to make this walk one for your whole body. All steps can be done from a chair.
