Riley Crossing offers senior housing options for 55+ townhomes, independent living, assisted living, short-term-stays, enhanced care suites and memory care as well as coordination of hospice and other care services.
Community life has changed during COVID, but it has not stopped. We still offer various activities, we are just meeting in smaller groups now! We continue to offer games, movies, parties, spiritual services, group exercise, happy hours, and more. Our dining room is open for those who wish to eat with others (safely distanced). Families (designated Essential Caregivers) are allowed to make scheduled visits to come into their loved one’s apartment and visit, so our residents can still spend time with family and friends. We continue to perform COVID testing and have recently offered COVID vaccinations to our residents and staff members.
We are also offering in-person tours for those who are interested in learning more about Riley Crossing and have an immediate need for housing.
Yes, Riley Crossing has a medication management program, which may be added to an individualized service plan and varies based on regulations. Residents participating in Riley Crossing’s medication program may choose their own pharmacy or use Riley Crossing’s preferred pharmacy provider in that region. If a resident prefers to use an alternate pharmacy, the resident and pharmacy must comply with certain requirements.
Upon move-in, our nurses and care team will assess your current health and review your medical history to see how we can best meet your needs. They will also discuss your preferences as well as your normal routines to develop a care plan that’s tailor made for you. This individualized service plan details your care plan and is regularly updated to meet your evolving needs.
We offer Independent Living for older adults who can still live independently and want a safe, maintenance-free living environment. Assisted Living is for those who need some level of personal care. Assisted Living can offer a minimal amount of assistance, to a full array of services, all without having to move apartments.
When you and your loved one are deciding whether it's time to make the move to a senior living community, money is a big consideration. At Ebenezer and Riley Crossing, we're committed to be completely transparent and straightforward about our pricing. For us, it's a matter of integrity. The last thing you (or we) want is for you to go through the entire journey that is involved in making the decision to move into senior living, only to settle in and then be unpleasantly surprised by the monthly bill. Transitions are difficult enough. You don't need surprises on your bill, too.
You'll find our rent prices right here on our website. Then, when you request packet, tour or meet with our Outreach and Sales Director, they will provide you with a price sheet that outlines all of the different types of care and services our residents can receive, and the exact monthly price of those services. It's anything from assistance bathing and dressing, transfers and mobility assistance, escorts, dining service assistance, personal hygiene, medication services, nurse visits, safety checks, and more. You name it, it's on that list, and you'll know exactly what any and all of your services cost each month. There are no surprises, no hidden costs, no shadowy or unexplained "fees" that seem to be padding your bill. Some competitors use a points system or never show you a list of the services and care costs which is confusing and not transparent.
We provide continued education and training, clinical care protocols and multiple quality assurance measures to reinforce our strong standards. Riley Crossing’s extensive training programs have been developed throughout the years and include; classroom, online and hands-on training, and employee shadowing and mentoring.
We have nurses either in the community or on-call 24-hours a day.
Our base rate in assisted living and memory care includes three meals a day, housekeeping, a load of personal laundry and fresh linens and towels each week, an emergency safety alert system, wellness checks, transportation to community programs, and all of our in-house activities.
The first step is to arrange a visit to Riley Crossing. You can call Lana Thomason at 952-934-7777. During your visit, we’ll talk to you about your personal circumstances and how we can meet your individual needs.
Our programming and activities will be specially designed to engage a senior’s mind, body and spirit.
Our mind activities will include games, discussion groups, outings, happy hour, and more! Riley Crossing will offer daily programming that helps our seniors stay physically active with chair yoga, walking clubs and much more. For residents that like to get in touch with their inner spirit, we will provide musical programs, classes and a variety of religious offerings.
Additionally, we will regularly plan fun and engaging activities outside of the community, such as a trip to a local park for a barbeque lunch, a scenic bus ride tour. There’s always something to look forward to!
While age varies by each community, in general, our residents are in their late 70’s to mid-80's.
In assisted living, we serve three meals a day and our dining services coordinators serve our residents restaurant-style. Emphasizing choice is important. In addition to the unique entrees featured at each meal, we also offer an “always available” menu for our residents.
As this is our residents' home, we welcome visitors and work with our family and friends to visit their loved ones at a time that works best for them.
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own pet with you! If you are comfortable caring for your pet and they are an appropriate pet for the community setting we would love for them to join our Riley Crossing family. Guidelines apply.
We work with each family to support their needs as best we can, including accommodating urgent move-ins when possible. Residents in Assisted living, Memory Care and Enhanced Care receive a full care assessment prior to moving in, which helps our care team develop his or her Individualized Plan. In some cases, a move-in can occur in as little as a day or so.
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own furniture with you as this is your home! We encourage you to design your apartment to be as comfortable and familiar as possible.
No. Our community does not require long-term lease commitments. However, most of our communities require a deposit/move-in fee upon signing the residency agreement. We also require 30 days written notice prior to moving out of the community.
Yes, we do offer short term stays at our community. A short-term stay (Stay by the Day) is a convenient option when planned or unforeseen circumstances occur such as an extended family vacation or recovery from an illness. Guests can receive assistance during an illness or rehabilitation after a hospital visit, and some of our communities offer skilled nursing for those needing more care.
